We are a Destination Management Company established in September 2000 and was originally known as Sunset Vacations. In December 2014 with new partners on board we decided to re-brand. Our name and logo changed but our motto of providing our clients with nothing but ‘Great Experiences and Pleasant Memories’ remained the same.
Though we are located in Accra, we have networked with experienced service providers in the other West African countries we have been operating in for the last 19 years and with our management team of a combined working experience of 80 years we make sure to provide you with the same quality of service you will experience in Ghana.
We have also established contacts in other West African countries not listed above, so if you are interested in visiting any other country apart from Ghana, Togo or Benin contact us with your requests.
We offer cultural and historical tours throughout Ghana, Togo, and Benin. We have created a combination of trek and culture packages that will give you the opportunity to participate in a variety of programs that offer you life changing experiences. So if you are looking for something different, whether it is a place to immerse yourself in the culture, try your bargaining skills in busy colorful open markets in the cities, or interact with rural people who still draw their daily lives from their natural environs then Sunset African Tours has that something special just for you. We also offer scheduled tours; however, if you cannot travel on our scheduled dates, do not worry, we can create tours to suit your travel dates, specific needs, and budget. So if you have not decided on where to go for that next vacation, contact us for that unique adventure.
We also offer services for the business traveler
The people of Ghana are known to be the friendliest on the continent and by the end of your visit you will certainly be dazzled by their hospitality. She was known as the Gold Coast until independence from Britain on March 6, 1957. Ghana today presents a mixture of modernity and a culture very well preserved.
Togo is a former French colony with her capital, Lome, been the only city to have been annexed by the French, the Germans, and the British. It is a place where animism remains strong. Though a very small country, you will be impressed by the many colourful open markets.
Land of mystery and ancient culture. A former French colony, Benin is a place where you will experience the real Africa. Benin is known for being the kingdom of the ancient Dahomey warriors and the cradle of the Voodoo religion.
A former French colony and known as the ‘Pearl of West Africa’, her commercial capital Abidjan is an urban city with modern landmarks. Ivory Coast was home to several ancient states, like Gyaaman, Kong Empire and Baoulé.
Along with our support staff including Tour Manager, Finance Manager, Tour Guides who speak English, French, Russian and several local languages; and our well trained drivers you are assured of nothing but a ‘Great Experience and Pleasant Memories’ on any one of our tours.
